Jurgen Schwarz is a qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist – Adv Dip Couns, MNCPS (Accred), MBACP (Reg).

Jurgen is a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and NCPS (National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society). He is committed to providing the highest standards of proficiency and ethical practice.

Jurgen has delivered counselling for the NHS, Mind (mental health charity), Cruse (bereavement support) and the Margaret Jackson Centre in Exeter. He is also a certified Online and Telephone Counsellor.

Jurgen has worked with the Alzheimer’s Society, the leading dementia charity, as a Dementia Adviser for many years and is experienced in communicating with people with dementia. He has gained a wealth of knowledge about the progression of dementia and is able to adapt his communication style to the needs of the individual. His work with carers for people living with dementia has enriched his knowledge and understanding of what is going on for them on a day to day basis.
