Dementia Counselling is here to help with some of the challenges living with dementia can bring.
We offer a dementia-appropriate therapeutic relationship for the person with a dementia diagnosis or the family carer.

Dementia Counselling is run by Jurgen Wolfram Schwarz who is a qualified counsellor and therapist.
Jurgen has considerable dementia experience from working at a leading dementia charity, providing support to those with dementia and their families and carers. He has counselled with Mind (the mental health charity) and the NHS (mental health) and is a volunteer with the Samaritans and Cruse Bereavement Support.
Dementia Counselling is based in Devon, where we offer in-person sessions in central Exeter and Budleigh Salterton. See In-Person Counselling for further details.
We also offer Zoom/telephone sessions which can be accessed anywhere in the UK. See Online Counselling for further details.
We offer a free “Get to Know” session (via Zoom or telephone) to help you and your counsellor decide whether to proceed with further (paid) sessions (see Fees for details). To book a “Get to Know” session, please use the Contact & Booking form on this website.
